Tammie McDaniel, age 60, passed away Friday, March 20, 2020, in Ft. Worth.
Due to the unforeseen complications of pandemic our family felt since we were unable to be together and celebrate Tammie’s passing, together we decided on a cremation and funeral be held at a later date. Now that her mother, Peggy Dodson, has passed our family felt this was the opportunity for the family to come together and celebrate the passing of these two amazing women at the same time.
A combined Celebration of Life for Tammie McDaniel and Peggy Dodson will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022, at Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Kelly Crenshaw officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Tammie was born on July 26, 1959, to David McDaniel Sr. and Peggy (Summett) Dodson in Sacramento, CA. She loved playing Bingo and riding in the truck with her husband. Tammie loved being with her kids and grandkids.
Tammie is survived by her children, Brandi McDaniel, Joshua McDaniel, Esperanza Mindieta and fiancé Chris Young all of Brownwood; four grandchildren, Believe, Live, Jacob, and Ezekiel; two sisters, Sandra Burnett and husband Raymond, Michele Helm and husband Larry all of Brownwood; and two brothers, Timmy McDaniel of Sacramento, CA, Steven McDaniel and wife Jessica of Sacramento, CA. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephew, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Martin Mindieta; her mother and stepfather, Peggy and Lester Dodson; her father and stepmother, David Sr. and Engrid McDaniel; and one brother, David McDaniel Jr.
