Evonne Carol Holloway, age 57, of Coleman, died Thursday, October 13, 2022, at her residence.
Her family will host a time of visitation and reflection on Monday, October 17, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan, in Coleman, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Family and friends are invited to a funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 18, 2022, in Stevens Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jerry Jordan officiating and assisted by Barbara Cox.
Services have been entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home.
Evonne Carol Holloway was born January 30, 1965, in Coleman, the daughter of John Terry Benjamin and Bennie Ruth Holloway. She grew up in Coleman where she attended school, graduating in the Class of 1983. She attended Cisco Junior College. Evonne was a referee for basketball games for Coleman High School for many years. She enjoyed playing softball where she was an outfield player. Other interests for Evonne included golfing, cooking outside and spending time with her family. For 35 years, she worked for Superior Essex Cable in Brownwood.
Survivors include her daughter, Brittiani Holloway of Coleman and her special friend, Liz Lancaster; her siblings, Ronnie Holloway of Bastrop, Russell Holloway of Coleman, Dwayne Holloway and wife Stephanie of Stephenville, and Dwight Holloway and wife Carrie of Coleman; sisters, Leslie Holloway of Coleman, and Valerie Davidson of Abilene; multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bennie Ruth Holloway, and her grandmother, Naomi Holloway.
The family would like to extend a special thanks Hospice of the Big Country for the care they provided to Evonne.
