Carla Sue Puckett, 63, of Coleman

Carla Sue Puckett, age 63, of Coleman, died Monday, October 10, 2022, at Bangs Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

The family will host a time of visitation and reflection from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.

Family and friends are invited to a graveside funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2022, at the Coleman City Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Aaron Mitchell, pastor of Concho Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in the Coleman City Cemetery.

Services are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home in Coleman.

Carla Sue was born April 27, 1959, in Coleman to Carl Dean Puckett and Margaret Ellen Kirby Puckett Haffley. She grew up in Coleman, San Angelo, and then Abilene where she attended school. Carla was a certified nurse aide and worked at Holiday Hill Nursing Home and Home Health. She loved taking care of her patients and took considerable pride in her job. Carla enjoyed coloring, all genres of music, and watching movies. Carla was a loving mother and grandmother. It brought her immense joy to spend time with her family. She will be missed.

Preceding Carla in death are her parents, Carl Dean Puckett, and Margaret Haffley; and one sister, Cynthia Parker.

She is survived by two sons, Ryan Robinson and wife Monique of Valera, and Trey Robinson of Ponca City, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Randall Robinson, and Lauren Robinson; and two nieces, Lori Parks and husband Aaron of Coleman and Amanda Smiley and husband John of Santa Anna.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Robinson, Trey Robinson, Aaron Parks, John Smiley, William Brannon, Trace Rice, and Andrew Bermea.
