Charles LaShawn Kelly, age 54, of Atlanta, Georgia and formerly of Brady, Texas departed this life on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia after a long illness.  Charles, a Brady native, was born August 31, 1968 in Texas to Charlie B. Kelly and Roberta Menefield.

A homegoing service for Charles LaShawn Kelly will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.  Interment will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4:30 pm to 6:00 pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels.  Friends may view and/or sign Mr. Kelly’s online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.

Charles Kelly is survived by his loving wife, Natalie Kelly of Atlanta, Georgia; daughters Roschelle Thornwell, Charliese and Christina.  He also leaves to cherish his memory, a loving mother Roberta A. Menefield and husband Jesse Lewis of San Angelo, Texas; brother Michael (Giovanni) Menefield of Enterprise, Alabama; a doting mother-in-law, Mary G. Robinson of Garfield, Georgia and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
