The Brownwood City Council will meet at 9:00 am this morning (Tuesday) at City Hall.  The agenda is below.

Any citizen who desires to address the City Council on a matter not included on the agenda may do so at this time. The City Council may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Council respectfully requests that prior to addressing Council that each person submit a citizen presentation form that is located at the entryway to the Council Chambers, stating your name, address, and topic of presentation. All presentations are subject to a five (5) minute time limit.

A. Council may receive a 2021 Audit presentation from Tony Krischke, CPA.
B. Consider authorizing the City to solicit request for proposals for a Downtown Comprehensive Plan.
C. Consider scheduling public hearings on the tax rate and budget for FY 2022/2023, for August 30, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.
D. Cast a vote for a candidate for the Texas Municipal League Health Benefits Pool, Board of Trustees representing Region 6.

A. Consider authorizing the Mayor to sign the updated Brown County Emergency Operations Plan.

A. Consider a resolution approving a negotiated settlement between Atmos Energy Corporation and Mid-Tex Division and Atmos Cities Steering Committee.

A. Consider an ordinance on second and third/final reading regarding amendments to the City’s zoning ordinance, Chapter 98 of the Code of Ordinances, regarding the placement of Wireless Telecommunication Facilities, including Towers.
B. Consider reappointments to the Brownwood Housing Authority Board.
