On Sunday, Aug. 7 at 3:23 p.m., Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to CR 436. This was in regard to loose livestock. The complainant advised three cows had come onto to her property. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who advised the cows had been grazing between properties, due to damaged fence caused by past grass fires. Bastardo asked the complainant if she could pin the cows up while an owner could be located. On Aug. 1, the cows were Estrayed and transported to 1050 West Commerce, Brownwood Law Enforcement Center, and placed into the livestock pin. The cows will be held until an owner can be located. A report was taken.
On Tuesday, Aug. 16, Deputy Chris Angel was dispatched to Oak Point Drive. This was in reference a theft of a CanAm. A report was taken, and an investigation is underway.
On Tuesday, Aug. 16, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of an animal at large. The complainant advised her neighbor’s dog came into her yard acting aggressive and chased her into the house. A report was made.
On Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 4:05 p.m., Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatched to Chaparral Dr. This was in regard to property damage. The caller advised dispatch someone had shot out her bedroom window. Upon arrival, contact was made with the caller. Information was gathered and a report was taken.
On Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 7:28 p.m., Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatch to North US 183, Seal Gymnastics. This was in regard to an assault, which occurred in the parking lot. Upon arrival, contact was made with the complainant who stated her ex-husband assaulted her in the parking lot. Information was gathered a report was taken.
