On Monday, Aug. 15, Deputy Joe Thomas was dispatched to a report of fraud. The complainant advised two acquaintances of her elderly father had fraudulently opened several credit card accounts in her father’s name. A report was made.
On Monday, Aug. 15 at 6:27 p.m., Sgt Jayson Bastardo was dispatch to Norwood St. This was in regard to a deceased person. The caller advised dispatch he located the deceased in his home. Upon arrival, contact was made with the caller. Information was gathered and a report was taken.
On Monday, Aug. 15 at about 8:05 p.m., Deputy Byron Langley arrived at CR 357 in Blanket. This was in regard to a hit and run. Deputy Langley spoke to a victim, who stated someone had run their vehicle into his fence, causing damage, and left the scene.
