Tommy Lee Perkins, age 76 of Bangs, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2022.

Visitation for Tommy will be held at Heartland Funeral Home of Early on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 from 6-8 PM.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 2 PM at the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel.

Tommy was born October 25, 1945, in Uvalde, Texas to Ira Andrew and Ivy Perkins. He passed away July 27, 2022, at the age of 76 at his home in Bangs, Texas. Tommy married the love of his life, Dorothy, on March 16, 1968 in Clifton, Texas and they have enjoyed 54 years of marriage.

Tommy was retired after being a jack of all trades and working hard all his life. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but most important to him was spending time with his family and cooking good food. Tommy never met a stranger. He loved to talk and always had a smile on his face.

Tommy leaves behind his beloved wife Dorothy; his five children; Shannon Perkins of Bangs, Robert Perkins and wife Gina of Gatesville, Amy Perry and husband Jeff also of Gatesville, Jimmie Mae Gregory and husband Rocky of Brownwood, and Carl Perkins of Huntsville; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a host of other relatives, nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Tommy was preceded in death by both parents, 12 siblings and 1 great-granddaughter.
