An Excessive Heat Warning has been issued for Coleman, Callahan and Concho County from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm today. Brown and McCulloch County are under a Heat Advisory.  Temperatures of 105-110 degrees are forecast for Coleman and Callahan counties today. Temperatures between 102 and 105 are expected in Brown and McCulloch.

Extreme heat will significantly increase the potential for heat related illnesses, particularly for those working or participating in outdoor activities.

Accidental ignitions will have the potential to grow into dangerous wind-driven wildfires. Avoid the use of open flames or any activities that may generate sparks.
