Early Voting Draws 288 on Day Two

Early voting for the March Primary Runoff began Monday, May 16.  According to Larry Franks, Brown County Elections Administrator, there were 296 early votes cast on the first day.

Then, on Tuesday, another 288 votes for a total of 584.

All early voting is taking place at the Brown County Elections Office, 613 N. Fisk, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm today, Wednesday.  Early voting Thursday and Friday, May 19 and 20, will be 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.

The following are the runoff races are taking place:

  • Brown County Judge between incumbent Paul Lilly and Shane Britton
  • Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 between incumbent Ted Perez and Harold “H.Q.” Thomas
  • Precinct 2 County Commissioner between incumbent Joel Kelton and Jeff Hoskinson

Election Day voting will be carried out countywide on Tuesday, May 24.
