A man from Ohio is in custody in Brady McCulloch County Jail without bond after a Brady Policeman was shot during a standoff with the suspect Tuesday morning.
In custody is Dacoda Allen Blake, 34, of Defiance, Ohio. According to the Brady Standard Newspaper, Blake is charged with attempted capital murder of a police officer and an outstanding warrant from Ohio.
DPS said at approximately 6 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, the Brady Police Department was called to a disturbance in the 300 block of Pearl Street.
During the investigation, a Brady Police officer was shot by a suspect and received non-life threatening injuries, DPS said.
Blake was taken to the McCulloch County Jail where he was booked in for an outstanding warrant out of Ohio.
