Washington, D.C. — Tuesday, U.S. Representative August Pfluger (TX-11) introduced legislation to defund the Biden Administration’s DHS ‘Disinformation Governance Board.’

Rep. August Pfluger (TX-11): “The news that the Biden Administration wants to control the speech of American citizens is beyond alarming. My bill will completely defund the board to reaffirm that the government does not get to determine what is true or false. The Department of Homeland Security should be focused on securing the border and preventing terrorist attacks, not fact-checking social media and censoring Americans.”
