Donald “Don” Max Howard, 60, of Brownwood

Donald “Don” Max Howard, 60, of Brownwood, Texas passed away Thursday, March 31, 2022.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 7, 2022 at Eastlawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.

Don was born November 13, 1961 to Lawrence E and Kattie Lucille (Row) Howard in Coleman, Texas. Don went to work for JCI after graduating from Big Flame, a special services school in Brownwood. He loved going to work every day and would get upset on days he didn’t go.  He would go on vacation, and 2 days into it, he was ready to go home so he could back to work.  Holidays got him too.  He loved to go to work. Don was an avid Brownwood Lions and Dallas Cowboys fan. He held season tickets for the Lions Football games, for many years.  He loved to go with his mother and siblings. He was able to attend a couple of Cowboys games, something he talked about for years. He enjoyed watching game shows and going out to eat.  His favorite place was Taco Bell.

Don is survived by his brother, Roger Howard of Brownwood; brother-in-law Larry White of Brownwood; and many nieces and nephews.  He had an entire family that loved him beyond words.

Don was proceeded in death by his parents; his favorite sister, Diane White; and brothers Gerald French, Charles Ronnie French, Troy French, Jerry Howard, Andrew Howard, and Stephen Howard.
