During Tuesday’s meeting of the Brownwood City Council, Brownwood Police Department Lieutenant James Kidd was recognized for graduating from the FBI National Academy.
On Thursday, March 17, Kidd completed the assigned coursework and physical tests, in order to successfully graduate from the 281st Session of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia.
The academy consisted of 257 men and women from all over the world. The National Academy Program, held on the marine corps base, is internationally known for its academic excellence.
The selection to the National Academy is a highly competitive process in which less than 1% of law enforcement are able to attend this elite training.
