According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, the following felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding.
Christopher Ray Cook, on probation for the felony offense of Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon was adjudicated and sentenced to Fifteen (15) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Richard Lopez II, on probation for three separate felony offenses of Assault Family Violence – Occlusion was adjudicated and sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Terri Baker, on probation for the felony offenses of Burglary of a Habitation and Accident Involving Injury was revoked and sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Kendra Peach, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver was revoked and sentenced to Four (4) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Marie Kauss aka Buckner, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance and was sentenced to Three (3) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.
Joseph Dalton Gilbert, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Unauthorized Use of Vehicle and was sentenced to Two (2) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
