The Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 9:00 pm this Tuesday evening for BROWN, CALLAHAN, COLEMAN, COMANCHE, CONCHO, EASTLAND, ERATH, HAMILTON, McCULLOCH, MILLS, RUNNELS, SAN SABA AND TAYLOR counties in the KOXE listening area.

A Watch means conditions are favorable for severe thunderstorms capable of producing large hail and damaging wind.

As of 1:50 pm, a strong thunderstorm was in northwest Coleman County near the community of Novice, with nickel size hail and 50 mph winds possible.  It is moving toward the northeast at 25 mph.
