Large hail fell in  western Coleman County during the 2 o’clock hour Thursday afternoon.  Hail stones ranging from quarter to golf ball size were common but a few baseball size chunks of hail fell on the Laws Ranch just northwest of Glen Cove.  The location is on Highway 153 near where the large wildfire was in mid-March.  A Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues until 9 pm for the KOXE listening area.  Brownwood/Early will be affected by stormy weather between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm today.
