Tammy Griffin, age 64, passed unexpectedly from this earthly life on Thursday, March 24, 2022.

Tammy was born on January 14, 1958, to Leo and Betty (Peirson) Allgood in Brownwood. She enjoyed the outdoors and serving others. She devoted her life to the elderly while working in the nursing home and respite care.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Holly Allen; 2 sons, Zane Griffin and wife Laci, and Zeb Griffin. She is also survived by her step-daughter, Angela Dorris and husband Allen; step-son, Shawn Griffin and wife Jaymi; three grandchildren and six step-grandchildren.

Tammy was preceded in death by her parents, Betty Jo and Leo Allgood; brother, Mike Allgood; and daughter, Kelli Griffin.

The family has requested that memorial donations in Tammy’s name be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org, or any cancer organization.

A memorial book is located inside Brownwood Manor, 300 Center Avenue, for anyone who would like to sign or share memories of Tammy.
