The San Angelo National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning today (Saturday) for much of West Central Texas, including much of the KOXE listening area.  This means a combination of strong winds, low humidity and dry fuels will contribute to extreme fire behavior.  Wind today is forecast to be from the southwest at 15-25 mph with higher gusts.  The high temperature is forecast to reach 90 degrees.  The humidity is forecast to drop to 10% by 5:00 pm.  The next chance for rain in our area comes late Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night with a potential for severe thunderstorms.
