The Texas Forest Service will be doing some controlled burning today (Tues) on the fire west of Blanket to finish the containment on the fire in the area of FM 1467 east of Hwy 183. Be aware that there will be smoke in the area and that there are fire trucks, dozers and helicopters in the area to keep it contained. Be aware of possible smoke across roadways in the immediate area.
