According to the Texas A&M Forest Service, as of 6:30 am Monday, the Ramsey Fire (Blanket Fire) in Brown County has burned an estimated 1,500 acres and is only 5% contained.  Forward progress of the fire had stopped early this morning and residents previous evacuated from the community of May and surround areas are allowed to return home.
