Cathie Reams, age 68, of Coleman, died Friday, March 18, 2022, at Coleman Healthcare.

She was born Cathie Marie Cox on July 8, 1953, in Amarillo to U.V. Cox and Eddie Lee Cox. She grew up in Amarillo where she attended school. Cathie was raised in the Pentecostal Church. Cathie and her family lived many places before moving to Coleman in 2018. Cathie enjoyed reading and making assorted crafts. She was a stay-at-home parent and homemaker for her family.

Preceding Cathie in death are her parents, U.V. and Eddie Lee Cox; and one son, Michael Reams.

She is survived by her children, Crystal Kincaid and husband Ryan of Coleman, Chris Reams of Abilene, and Lisa Symmank; her grandchildren, Alejandro Reams, Matthew Reams, Destiny Taylor, Christian Kincaid, Justin Kincaid, and Chance Billiot; one great-grandson, Dawson Taylor; five brother, Vernon Cox, Ricky Cox, Danny Cox, L.G. Cox, and Raymond Cox; and one sister, Janie Chandler.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements with cremation are entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
