Ten Sentenced in District Court Cases

According to District Attorney Micheal Murray, the following felony cases were recently heard in Brown/Mills County District Court, Judge Mike Smith, presiding.

Jesse Escamilla, Jr. pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to Twelve (12) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Erik Jermaine Fields pled guilty to the felony offense of Credit Card or Debit Card Abuse and was sentenced to Twelve (12) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Jasmine Dezarea Cobbin, pled guilty to the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver and was sentenced to Eight (8) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Further, Cobbin, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver-Drug Free Zone was revoked and sentenced to Eight (8) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division. Also, Cobbin, pled guilty to the state jail felony offense of Endangering a Child and was sentenced to Twelve (12) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Justin Cougar Storey, on probation for the felony offense of Failure to Register as a Sex Offender, was revoked and sentenced to Seven (7) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Logan Andrew Brandstetter, on probation for the felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance-Drug Free Zone was adjudicated and sentenced to Two (2) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Roberto Martinez Sanchez, pled guilty to the felony offense of Assault Family Violence – Occlusion and was sentenced to Five (5) years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

John Wesley Breedlove, II, on probation for the felony offense of Assault Family Violence – Occlusion was adjudicated and sentenced to Five (5) Years, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Institutional Division.

Ryan Brown, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Theft of Firearm was revoked and sentenced to Twenty (20) months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Nicole Laureles aka Lancaster, on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was revoked and sentenced to Nine (9) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.

Trent Duffer., on probation for the state jail felony offense of Possession of a Controlled Substance was revoked and sentenced to Eight (8) Months, Texas Department of Criminal Justice, State Jail Division.
