Dorinda Kay York 75, of Santa Anna, passed away Friday, March 11, 2022 with her family by her side.

Funeral Services will be Monday, March 14, 2022 at 10:00 am at The Feed Store Church in Santa Anna. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 5-7 pm at Brownwood Funeral Home. Pastor Jason Studdard officiating.

Dorinda was born in Big Spring, Texas to the parentage of Clarence and Lorraine Smith on November 9, 1946. She received her primary education in Big Spring and Midland, Texas.
Dorinda loved to cook for her family and was also well known for the pies she caringly prepared for various café’s. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching birds, squirrels and being around her loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Dorinda is preceded in death by parents Clarence and Lorraine Smith; 1 brother: Sonny Smith; and 1 sister: Debra Abney.

Left to cherish her memories is her life partner of 22 years Everete “Pee Wee” Taylor; 2 daughters: Karen Richardson (Andy) of Comanche, and Elizabeth Maldonado (Fausto) of Coleman; 3 sons: Terry Taylor (Misty) of Santa Anna, Eddie York (Mandy) of Santa Anna and James York (Krystal) of Andrews, Texas; 20 Grandchildren and 21 Great-grandchildren.
