Frank Edward Prosise, Sr., age 72, of Eden, Texas passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in San Angelo, Texas.  Frankie, as he was known by family and friends, was born September 7, 1949 in Eden, Texas to Lewis Edward Prosise and Dorothy Lou (Leatherwood) Prosise.  He graduated from Klein High School in Spring, Texas.  He married Rita Jean Wiley on July 22, 1972 in Conroe, Texas.  He married Janice Kay Williams on June 11, 2001 in Eden, Texas.  He moved back to Eden in 1989 after living in Spring for several years.  Frankie worked as a plumber most of his life.  He enjoyed race horses and going to rodeos.  He was all in for anything that involved spending time with his sons be it coaching little league football or showing livestock.

A celebration of life gathering, for Frank Edward “Frankie” Prosise, Sr., will be held Monday, March 14, 2022 from 12 noon to 3:00pm at Edna & Mike Carnine’s home at 101 Scruggs in Eden.  Friends may view Frankie’s Memorial Video Tribute and/or sign his online memorial guest book at www.leatherwoodmemorialchapels.com.

Frankie is survived by his sons James Mathis and wife Laura of Spring, Texas, Michael Mathis and wife Andrea of Montgomery, Texas and Frank “Hanke” Prosise, Jr. and wife Carrie of Livingston, Texas; sister Edna Carnine and husband Mike of Eden, Texas; grandchildren Chad, Kristen, Chase, Blake, Kaden, Madison and Savannah; great-grandchildren Haven, Max, Liam, Emma and Jace and several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and both spouses.
