On Monday, March 7, sixteen Brookesmith High School students traveled to Lometa to compete in the District One-Act Play competition with students from Lometa, Richland Springs and Rochelle. Brookesmith will now advance to the Bi-District Competition. Students Kirsten Langley, Alys Hodges and Brenden Been received  Honorable Mention All-Star Cast awards. Savanna Hancock and Sharon Bradley received All-Star Cast awards. Conner Heard received the Tech Award for Lighting.
