Nellie Constancia Flores, 84, of Brady, Texas passed away Saturday, March 5, 2022 at Brady West in Brady.

She was born June 30, 1936 in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico to Jesus Contancia and Maria (Faz) Constancia. She was a Certified Nurses Aid and member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brady.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 9, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels with the Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 10:00 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brady. Interment will be in Melvin Cemetery in Melvin.

Survivors:
Sons – John Velez and wife Kathy of Corpus Christi; Jesus Flores and wife Mary of Buchanan Dam; Jerry Flores and wife Sheila of Brady and Leslie Flores of Brady.
Daughters – Elda Ledezma and husband Julio of Austin; Nelda Bernal and husband Fred of San Antonio; Sadie Hays and husband Billy of Brownwood; Sandra Williams and husband Chuck of North Carolina and Jennifer Huro of Brady.
Brothers – Luvin Constancia and wife Gloria of Brady and Joe Constancia of Melvin.
Sisters – Bertha Martinez of Richmond, Virginia; Lupe Lopez of Lubbock; Amanda Lopez and husband Paul of Tulia; Martha Corrales and husband Oscar of Garden City, Kansas; Dora Urteaga of Dallas and Ninfa Aguero of Dallas.
15 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfredo Flores, 2 grandchildren, 2 sisters and 1 brother.
