Friday, on the final day of early voting, the Brown County Elections Office had 33 Democrats and 698 Republicans for a total of 731 which was the largest single day turnout during early voting.
“In total, we had 102 Democrats and 2,701 Republicans turn out to vote for a total of 2,803. I’m disappointed in the low turnout with all the local contested races. I thought the turn-out would have been better,” said Larry Franks, Elections Administrator.
Now comes Election Day on Tuesday, March 1st, when polls will be open from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
“We still have not heard back from the Secretary of State in regards to our application for the Countywide Polling Place Program so voters will have to vote at their regular polling locations,” Franks said. Polling locations are shown below.
