BROCK – Argyle proved why they are a top 10 team in the state in Brock Friday night, handing the Brownwood Lions a 70-28 loss in the Area Championship Game. The Lions had been averaging 80 points per game. Argyle held Brownwood to one second half field goal and four free throws to claim a dominant victory. Scoring for Brownwood were Christian Kinzler with 11 followed by Jakob Hataway with 7, Bryson Monroe 6, Ike Hall 3 and Luke Moss 1.  Argyle was ranked No. 9 in the state this week.
