MINERAL WELLS – Sometimes six points is a lot of points in a soccer match. Brownwood Lady Lion Kennedi Johnson scored six points of the 11 the Lady Lions put on the scoreboard to take a dominating District 4-4A win over Mineral Wells Friday 11-0.  Addison Pesina added two goals with Ataleigh Constancio, Watts Jones and Molly Oliver each contributing one. The Lady Lions are now 4-1 in district and 10-3 on the season.

BOYS GAME

In the boys game, the Lions lost 3-0 which drops them to 2-3 in district and 5-9-2 on the season.

After a three day break, the Lions and Lady Lions will welcome Stephenville to town for a doubleheader this coming Tuesday evening at Gordon Wood Stadium starting at 5:30 pm.
