Hendrick has moved the COVID-19 Community Safety Dial to Level 3: High Risk, effective today, Wednesday, February 23. The change is based on the decrease in hospitalizations and community spread.  The update shows Brownwood with 3 COVID hospitalizations as of today.

Current visitation policies remain in place. Masks are required for visitors and staff in all Hendrick facilities, regardless of vaccination status.

According to Hendrick, COVID-19 vaccines are the best form of defense against COVID-19 and its variants and have been proven effective at preventing hospitalization and severe illness. Hendrick Health strongly encourages all eligible persons to get vaccinated, as soon as possible. For more information about the vaccine, visit vaccine.gov.
