Frances LaJune Meyer, age 83, of Blanket, passed from this life into eternity on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, at Baylor All Saints Hospital in Fort Worth.

She was born June 22, 1938, in Russellville, Arkansas, the daughter of Glen and Mildred (Braford) Reed. Following her graduation from high school, she attended Mary Hardin Baylor College in Belton.  She married Kurtis Meyer at Andrews, Texas, on October 21, 1961.  She lived in the West Texas area prior to moving to Blanket where she and her husband lived for the past twenty-two years.  She was a loving homemaker and loved to travel.  She was a faithful member of the Grace Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her husband, Kurtis Meyer of Blanket, a brother, Paul Reed of Mesquite, Texas and a nephew, Marty Meyer and wife Shannon of Fairmont, Oklahoma and their children, Payton and Morgan.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am Monday, January 31, at the Grace Lutheran Church with visitation from 9:30 until service prior to the service.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, February 1, at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Fairmont, Oklahoma.
