GLEN ROSE – The Brownwood Lady Lions basketball team ran into a buzz saw Tuesday night as the Glen Rose Lady Tigers proved why they are ranked 7th in the state. The final was Glen Rose 78 and Brownwood 33. The Lady Lions are now 1-4 in district and 18-12 on the season. Tessa Goodwin led the Lady Lions with 14 points followed by Jaylen Savage with seven, Kynslee Walker and Mady Pyle with four each, and Lilly Brasher and Lexi Greer with two points apiece. The Lady Lions are back in action at 6 p.m. Friday as they host Lampasas, which defeated Brownwood, 55-43, on Jan. 11.
