Brownwood High School Soccer Teams are both in tournament play.  The girls are in Salado, the boys are in Wichita Falls.

SALADO – The Brownwood Lady Lions bounced back from a pair of Thursday losses at the Salado tournament with a tie Friday against China Spring, 1-1.  The lone goal for Brownwood (4-2-2) was scored by Kennedi Johnson on an assist from Watts Jones.   Due to a 0-2-1 tournament record, Brownwood did not qualify for Saturday’s seeding games.  The Lady Lions will return to action at 6 p.m. Friday, Jan. 28 at San Angelo Lake View.

WICHITA FALLS – The Brownwood Lions played Burkburnett to a scoreless tie after dropping a 7-0 decision to Pampa to open Wichita Falls soccer tournament action Friday. The Lions (2-6-2) will conclude tournament action at 10:30 a.m. Saturday against Borger.
