Grand Champion Steer Brings $17,000 at Youth Fair Sale

The bids were fast and furious Saturday afternoon as the 70th Brown County Youth Fair concluded with the Premium Sale.  A touted record bid was made on the Grand Champion Market Steer. Holden Wise, an Early fourth-grader, exhibited the 13-month-old, 1,000-pound Other Breeds division winner named Gooder on Friday morning.  The winning bid of $17,000 was placed by Joe Johnson.

The following are the remaining winning bids for the Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champions in both livestock and home economics:
