The Brown County Water Improvement District #1 Board of Directors will meet Tuesday, January 11, at 4:00 pm at the office, 501 East Baker.

Citizens Presentations: Any citizen desiring to address the Board of Directors regarding a matter not included on agenda may do so at this time. The Board of Directors may not deliberate on items presented under this agenda item. To comply with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act, the Board of Directors respectfully requests that prior to addressing the Board, each person submit a citizen’s presentation form located at the entrance lobby, stating your name, address and topic of presentation. All presentations are limited to five (5) minutes time limit.

Consider and take necessary action amending the District’s employee retirement contract with American United Life and benchmarking the District’s 401a and 457b retirement plans.

Consider and take necessary action regarding a budget amendment for services provided by Rural Issues Consultants in an amount not to exceed $5000.00.

Consider and take necessary action to declare the following items surplus to allow sale to the highest bidder:

Kenwood VP 6230 radio with mic, chargers and two (2) extra batteries; Kenwood TK 5220 radio;
Vertex VX 354-ADOB-5 hand held radio;
Vertex VX 2200 DO 50 mobile radio;
Kenwood TK 790A radio;
Kenwood TK 730 H radio;
Maxon SM 4150 radio.

Consider and take necessary action to declare used brass from the District’s firing range as surplus.
Consider and take necessary action on a proposal for Oncor to install an automatic transfer switch at the District’s water treatment plants.
Hear report and update on dock #7087 McCartney Island.
Update on Zebra Mussels found at Lake Brownwood.
