Linda Ann Anderson, 73, of Brookesmith

Linda Ann Anderson age 73, of Brookesmith, Texas passed away on December 28, 2021 in Brownwood, Texas surrounded by her family.

Funeral services for Linda will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday January 4, 2022 at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel with Bozo Rogers officiating, interment will follow at Winchell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Monday evening at Blaylock Funeral Home.

Linda was born in San Angelo, Texas on  April 27, 1948.  Linda was the daughter of Rollie White “Fat” Parker and Billie Louise Hannum-Parker and was raised and went to school in Ozona, Texas. In 1959, her family moved to central Texas and graduated from Brady High School in 1966. As a kid, Linda enjoyed playing basketball, riding horses, and spending time with her friends.  Her friends at school knew her as “Parker”.

On May 13, 1972 Linda married Ed Anderson in Brady, Texas. Together they had two children, Juakana Nelson and Mykia Anderson.  Linda enjoyed supporting her husband, children, and grandchildren to rodeos, cuttings, and sports.  Linda was a member of the Heart of Texas Cowboy Church in Brookesmith, Texas.  When her grandchildren were born they gave her the nickname “Wheezer” from her favorite movie Steel Magnolias. Everyone now in the Brookesmith community calls her “Wheezer”.  Linda enjoyed working and took great pride in work.  She worked for the Brady Veterinary Clinic for 20 years and First Aide Agency of Brownwood, Texas for 10 years.  She always had a special gift of caring for animals and others.

Those left behind to cherish her memory: Husband of 49 years Ed Anderson of Brookesmith, Texas.  Sister: Mary Spieker and husband Clarence Spieker of Hermileigh, Texas.  Daughters: Juakana Nelson and husband Tony Nelson of Brookesmith, Texas and Mykia Anderson of Clyde, Texas.  Grandson: Ryder Nelson of Brookesmith, Texas and Calvin Nelson and wife Bethany Nelson of Granbury, Texas.  Granddaughter: Laramie Nelson of Brookesmith, Texas and Sarah Bolton and husband Billy Paul Bolton of Granbury Texas.  Best Friend: Dewanah Alyesworth of Brady, Texas.
