The Brownwood Lady Lions secured their third victory in as many outings at the TexasBank Holiday Classic Wednesday morning, rallying from a halftime deficit for a 49-31 victory over the Valley Mills Lady Eagles at the Brownwood Coliseum.

With the win, the Lady Lions (15-7) will square off with Fort Worth Nolan Catholic at 6:40 p.m. today (Thursday) at the Coliseum for the top seed from Pool A and the right to play in Thursday’s tournament championship game.

Tessa Goodwin and Mady Pyle each finished with a team-best 13 points for the Lady Lions followed by Jaylen Savage with 11, Kynslee Walker with six, and Lilly Brasher, Kassidy Wooten and Lexi Greer with two points apiece.
