With the opening of fireworks retail sales beginning on December 20,  please be aware of the Resolution passed by the Brown County Commissioners Court on December 13, 2021 . This resolution says that “ A person may not sell, detonate ignite or in any way use fireworks classified as Skyrockets with sticks under 49 C.F.F. part 173.100  r2  or missiles with fins in any portion of the unincorporated areas of Brown County expiring after January 1, 2022, due to the dry fuels  and near drought conditions in the area.”
