Salvation Army Bell Ringers begin their labor of love Friday, November 26, at Brookshire’s Supermarket, United Supermarket and WalMart in Brownwood and at Hobby Lobby in Early on Saturday’s.

“This is our largest fundraiser, our goal is $40,000,” said Stacy Tennison, Director of Brownwood Salvation Army.

“We are encouraging everybody to ring bells with us.  You can ring as an individual.  You can ring with your friends, family, a group or organization,” Tennison said, adding that some bell ringers also sing and dress up for the occasion, but you don’t have to.
