Teresa Pearl Cooper, age 68, of Brownwood peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 26, 2021, with family by her side. Her mind is at ease, her soul is at rest, remembering all how she was truly blessed.
Celebration of Life for Teresa will be announced at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home of Brownwood.
Teresa was born on March 31, 1931, to Hoyt and Irma (Burris) Crelia in Austin. She loved her family dearly, all in different ways, keeping them nestled close within her heart every day. Though now she’s far away, Teresa leaves behind a legacy of love and happy memories to her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.
Teresa is survived by her son, James Cooper and daughter-in-law Jennifer of San Marcos; daughter, Jennifer Lee Castro and son-in-law Jason of Kyle; 4 grandchildren, Ashley Cooper, Margaret Cooper, Jason “JJ” Castro Jr., and Jordan Castro; 3 great-grandchildren, Evalyn Rose, James Ray III and Elizabeth Renee. She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt and Irma Crelia; siblings, Cecil Crelia, Vernon Crelia, Betty King, Wanda Sutherland, Bob Crelia, Margaret Robertson, Jimmie Lee Crelia and Johnny Crelia.
