The Brownwood Lions will welcome the Waxahachie Life Mustangs to Gordon Wood Stadium Friday night for a 7:30 pm tilt that you can listen to on KOXE 101.3 FM, KOXE.com or the KOXE App.

A Lions victory over the Mustangs, and a Waco La Vega victory over Alvarado, would propel the Lions to the playoffs again this year.

Waxahachie Life (1-7, 0-3) defeated North Dallas, 35-0, in Week 3 for their only win this year. They have lost to Waco Connally (57-6), Athens (40-7), Caddo Mills (58-17), Texarkana Liberty Eylau (54-17), Alvarado (35-14), Midlothian Heritage (64-0) and Stephenville (49-6).

The Lions (3-5, 1-2) are coming off a 56-35 victory at Alvarado.
