Michael Roland Hampton, 60, of Early, passed away, Wednesday, October 6, 2021.
A Visitation with family will be held at Heartland funeral Home, Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM.
Mike was born in San Antonio, TX on May 19th, 1961 to Roland and June Hampton. He graduated from Early High School, class of 1979 and attended Tarleton State University. Mike always had a smile on his face and loved to entertain others. He spent many years enjoying team roping and rodeos. He cheered for his sports teams, the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers, even when the games were not broadcasted in the area. He cherished time with his two boys throwing the ball, hunting, playing games and goofing off.
Mike is survived by his sons, Wade and Emmett Hampton of Austin; parents, Roland and June Hampton of Early; sister, Ronda Toeppich of Early; nephew, Judd Toeppich and his wife Brandi.
Mike was preceded in death by his grandparents.
