MAY – The May Tigers improved to 6-0 on the season before a huge homecoming crowd with a 55-0 shutout of the Newcastle Bobcats in a game broadcast on KOXE and also streamed live on KOXE.com. May allowed only 84 yards from a Newcastle offense that had been averaging 57 points per game, until they played the Tigers. May has now scored more than 400 points this season. The Tigers’ quest for a sixth consecutive district champion begins at home next week when Gorman (4-1) – a 44-42 winner over Perrin-Whitt Friday night – visits in the 13-A Division I opener.
