As of 5:45 pm Tuesday, several fire department units responded to a grass fire  on FM 2126, less than 300 yards off the Austin Avenue/Access Loop intersection.  Fire crews were working to bring the blaze under control.  Meanwhile, another grass fire in southern Callahan County has several Coleman County volunteer fire departments joining Callahan County fire departments in trying to stop the spread of a wildfire just off Highway 283.  As of 6:00 pm Tuesday, humidity was 20% at Coleman Municipal Airport with Northeast wind 18-25 mph.  A 950 acre fire in Comanche County was said to be 90% contained late Tuesday afternoon.
