Elizabeth Turner, age 77, of Coleman, died Sunday, September 19, 2021, at Coleman County Medical Center.
A private family graveside service was held at the Coleman City Cemetery with Dr. Chas Shira, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Interment followed in the Coleman City Cemetery.
Services were entrusted to Stevens Funeral Home, 400 W. Pecan Street, in Coleman.
She was born Elizabeth Ann Moncy on October 11, 1943, in Llano County, Texas to James Burton Moncy and Patricia Joann Fisher Moncy. Elizabeth grew up in Kingsland where she attended school. She moved to Coleman in 1978 from California. Elizabeth was a certified nurse’s aide where she worked at Holiday Hill Nursing Home and Coleman Healthcare for many years. She also worked at Homestyle Laundry in Coleman.
Elizabeth was a hard worker and cared for her family. She also enjoyed raising all kinds of animals and she loved her dogs. Elizabeth will be missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Elizabeth is survived by her children, Cathy Cook and husband John of Miami, Oklahoma, Charles Watson of Odessa, and Dwayne Smith of San Angelo; two grandchildren, Michael Marney and Brandon Marney; and one brother, Randy Kimbrough Jr. of Irving.
