Tony Russell King, age 83, of Zephyr passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at home surrounded by his loving family.

Tony was born on November 26, 1937, to Carson and Gladys (Rushing) King in Carthage, Mississippi. He married the love of his life, Joyce Head King, on March 8, 1957. Tony proudly served in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years and 9 months as Master Sargent. He touched the lives of all who met him and was loved by many. He was an inspiration to countless people.

Tony is survived by his wife, Joyce King; 2 sons, Anthony King and wife Sandra, Russell King and wife Tracy; 1 daughter, Elizabeth King Colglazier and husband Andrew; 6 grandchildren, Christopher King and wife Sarah, Jennifer King Drake and husband Jan, Stanley Dudek and wife Marged, Kelsey Dudek, Conner King, and Bailey King; 6 great-grandchildren, Alex King, Wil Witherspoon, Waylon Eades, Eva King, Kenneth Dudek, and Kaden Cagle; and sister, Geraldine Stokes. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Carson and Gladys King; and a brother, Bill King.

Private Family Services for Tony will be held at a later date.
