Jimmy Arias, age 53, of Brady, Texas passed away Monday, September 13, 2021 in San Angelo, Texas.
Jimmy was born November 14, 1967 in Brady, Texas to Ascencion Arias, Sr. and Florencia (Laureles) Arias. He grew up in Nebraska and was a 1986 Venango High School graduate. He served in the U.S Army at Ft. Carson, Colorado. Upon discharge, he moved to Arizona. He moved back to Brady in 2019 and worked as a heavy machinery operator for U.S. Silica. He was a member of the Open Door Pentecostal Church in Brady.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.
Funeral services for Jimmy Arias will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady. Interment with military honors will follow at Rest Haven Cemetery in Brady.

Jimmy Arias is survived by his parents Ascencion and Florencia Arias, Sr. of Brady, Texas; daughters Brittany Winders of Oregon, Candice Arias of Virginia and Bianca Hurtado of Arizona; brothers Joe Arias and wife Kathy of Greely, Colorado, Ascencion Arias, Jr. and wife Carleen of Harker Heights, Texas, John Arias of Grand Island, Nebraska and Ignacio Arias of Brady, Texas; sisters Rachel Velasquez and husband Hervey of California, Mary Barnum and husband Matt of North Platte, Nebraska, Laura Arias of Gentry, Arkansas and Julie Gonzales of Brady, Texas; grandchildren Kylah, Nova, Khalessi, Peyton, Kaydence, Dawson, Isabella and Braedon and several nieces and nephews.
