Linda Mae Wargo, age 67 formerly of Brownwood, Texas passed away Thursday, September 9, 2021 in Dallas, Texas

Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Heritage funeral Home Davis-Morris Chapel from 6 to 7 PM . Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenleaf Cemetery.

Linda was born in Brownwood, Texas, the daughter of the late Raymond Ponce and Victoria Torres Gusman. She married Michael John Wargo in Brownwood, Texas on December 17, 1988, he preceded her in death.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Brownwood where she lived most of her life. Linda worked for the Diocese of Dallas as a secretary. She never met a stranger and had a loving soul. She loved her grandchildren.

Sister: Angie Gomez of Brownwood

3 half sisters: Mary Ponce Hernandez of Breckenridge

Ramona Ponce of Breckenridge

Marcie Ponce of Breckenridge

2 Half Brothers: David and Johnny Ponce of Breckenridge

4 grandchildren: Danielle Badillo, Anna Redfern, Michael Manriquez and Jacob Manriquez

Sister in law: Consuelo Mendoza of Brownwood

Preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brother, Hubert Mendoza, and 2 half brothers Russell and Robert Ponce
