Lydia Santos Torrez, 98, of Brady, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021 in Kerrville, Texas.

The family will receive friends Friday, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leatherwood Memorial Chapels in Brady.

A Graveside Service will be Saturday, September 11, at 10:00 am at Rest Haven Cemetery with Rev. Fernando Nandin officiating.

She was born May 26, 1923 in San Carlos, Coahuila, Mexico to parents Julio B. Torrez and Eloisa (Santos) Torrez. She was never married, member of First United Methodist Church and a steam presser at the Clean & Press Shop for over 64 years.

Survivors:
Nieces – Marilyn Urbanus and husband Paul of Little Elm, Texas; Annette Dunson and husband Joe of Kerrville.
Great-nephews – James Bivins and Andrew Bivins
Several other nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers (Joe, Jesse & Samuel) and 3 sister (Mary Villa, Naomi Alvarez and Angelita Torrez)
